Ingredients

  • Hot Chocolate3.5 tablespoon
  • Milk1 cup
  • Tapioca Pearls1/2 cup
  • Iceas much as you need
  • Water1/3 cup
  • Sugar1.5 tablespoon

Instructions

  1. Add tapioca pearls to a pan full of boiling hot water.

  2. Let simmer for about 5-6 minutes.

  3. If you want the pearls to be softer, cook them for longer. If you want them chewier, cook them for less long.

  4. Remove from heat and strain through a sieve.

  5. If you don't have a sieve, simply scoop out the balls with a spoon/spatula.

  6. Immediately cover with sugar.

  7. Give it a good stir.

  8. Set aside.

  9. In a mug/bowl, combine hot chocolate mix and boiling hot water (⅓ cup).

  10. To serve, add tapioca balls to a large glass.

  11. Cover with plenty of ice cubes.

  12. Then add milk and the hot chocolate mixture.

  13. Stir well and add more sweetener if desired.
