  • Tonic Water· not in your bar1 dl Schweppes

    Or swap: Bitter Lemon — citrusy, bittersweet, Soda Water — cleaner, no quinine bitterness

  • Angostura Bitters· not in your bar4 dashes

    Or swap: Orange Bitters — citrus-forward, Peychaud's Bitters — brighter, anise-tinged

  • Lime(optional)· not in your bar1/2
  • Ice· not in your bar4
  • Vodka· not in your bar1 ¾ oz

    Or swap: Gin — adds botanical notes, White Rum — a touch sweeter

Instructions

  1. Shake a tall glass with ice cubes and Angostura, coating the inside of the glass.

  2. Por the vodka onto this.

  3. Add 1 slice of lime and squeeze juice out of remainder.

  4. Mix with tonic.

  5. Stir and voila you have a Long Vodka.
