Bruce's Puce
Grenadine, Kahlua and Baileys layered carefully in a shot glass. Goes down smooth and, improbably, tastes like chocolate milk.

Ingredient substitutions
No exact bottle on the shelf? These swaps keep Bruce's Puce close to the original.
Instead of Coffee Liqueur
- Chocolate Liqueur— leans mocha
- Coffee Brandy— drier, boozier
Instead of Irish Cream
- Amarula— fruitier, works 1:1
Instead of Grenadine
- Raspberry Syrup— berry-forward, same blush
Instructions
In a regular-sized shot glass, layer, with a spoon or cherry, the grenadine, the Kahlua, then the Bailey's Irish cream in equal portions.
It goes down really smooth, and you don't even need a chaser.
It tastes just like chocolate milk. (Really!)
Pairs well with
Kahlua, Irish cream, and grenadine layer into candy — pair with more dessert:
- Chocolate-covered cherries
- Vanilla cupcake bites
- Caramel popcorn
- Fudge squares
