Instructions

  1. Muddle fresh ginger in a shaker and add the remaining ingredients except for the Islay single malt whisky.

  2. Fill the shaker with ice and shake.

  3. Fine train into a chilled Old Fashioned glass with ice.

  4. Float the single malt whisky on top.

  5. Garnish with candied ginger slices.
