Ingredients

  • Orange(optional)· not in your bar3 large
  • Sugar· not in your bar1 1/3 cup superfine

  • Vodka· not in your bar3 cups

Instructions

  1. Pare very thinly the bright-colored rind from the oranges (no white).

  2. Blot the peel on paper towels to remove any excess oil.

  3. Put peel in a 4 cup screw-top jar.

  4. Add 2 cups vodka.

  5. Close jar.

  6. Store in a cool, dark place for 2 days or until the vodka has absorbed the flavor.

  7. Remove peel and add remaining vodka.

  8. Close jar and add remaining cup of vodka.

  9. Close the jar and store in a cool dark place at least 1 month to age.
