Ingredients

  • Cinnamon· not in your bar1 tsp powdered

    Or swap: Allspice — similar warm spice

  • Chocolate· not in your bar3 oz

    Or swap: Cocoa Powder — add a little sugar

  • Egg· not in your bar3
  • Milk· not in your bar6 cups

Instructions

  1. Boil milk in the top of a deep double boiler five minutes.

  2. Remove from fire and add chocolate, mixed with the cinnamon, a little at a time, beating with molinillo or egg beater after each addition.

  3. When the chocolate is thoroughly blended, heat to the boiling point.

  4. Place over bottom of double boiler and add eggs, whipping constantly, until they are thoroughly blended and the mixture is frothing.

  5. Serve in coffee mug.

  6. Serves eight.
