    Or swap: Apple Brandy — adds orchard fruit, Cognac — smoother, more refined

  • Ginger Beer· not in your barTop up

    Or swap: Ginger Ale (top up) — gentler, sweeter

  • Lime Juice· not in your bar½ oz

    Or swap: Lemon Juice — softer citrus

  • Gin· not in your bar1 oz

    Or swap: Old Tom Gin — slightly softer and sweeter, Vodka — cleaner, less botanical

Instructions

  1. Pour all ingredients into cocktail shaker except the ginger beer.

  2. Shake well with ice.

  3. Pour unstrained into a Collins glass or in the original.

  4. Top up with ginger beer.

  5. Garnish with mint spring and optionally an orange slice as well.
